The Remnant seen from a different vantage point, and for those who knew it, or have seen my earlier paintings, it shows how dramatic the fall was. There would have been barely a sliver of sky on the left, although the view through to the sea is relatively unchanged. Of course, this is a natural process, but I think the storms that winter took their toll.
