Probably RSA, The Firth of Clyde, 1920, no 128

The Scotsman (16 March 1911) identified Hamilton as ‘one of the Glasgow artists who were associated with Sir James Guthrie, Walton, Lavery, and others in what was known as 'The Glasgow School'. Born and educated in Glasgow, he studied art first in his native city and afterwards in Paris, in the studios of Dagnan-Bouveret and Aimé Morot.' Rhu Bay is on the east shore of the Gare Loch in Helensburgh near Glasgow, a place to which Hamilton returned frequently to paint.
