Provenance

Cotman family

Written on back: 'The Cut Corn (used in the film the 'Go Between') filmed in Norfolk.' The Go-Between' is a 1971 period drama based on the 1953 book by L.P. Hartley of the same name.

We take this to mean not that the picture was a prop in the film, but that the house depicted is Melton Constable Hall, where the film was later shot.
