This plaster relief (designed for an over-mantel) was exhibited in the New Gallery by the Arts & Crafts Society in 1903. It was illustrated that same year in The Studio, which had in a previous issue praised Anning Bell and his decorative panels for infusing 'the qualities of modern taste' into 'the half-forgotten art' of plaster relief'.
