Additional Description
Sculptor Joyce Bidder was one of Stanley Nicholson Babb's best pupils at the Wimbledon School of Art; from 1933, she shared a London studio with fellow sculptor Daisy Borne, who shared Bidder's talent for creating conservative works with a hint of Modernism. Her sculptures were exhibited at the Royal Academy, Society of Women Artists, and the Royal Miniature Society, amongst others.
